1. What percentage of the U.S.'s total income taxes did the richest 1% of taxpayers pay?

2. How do we know that a large percentage of the riches 1% of taxpayers are "new rich"?

3. Use the Internet to research tax rates in other countries. Select two countries and compare their tax rates to the United States.
